How to order
Browsing and How to Order
All the products available from our website can be found via the homepage.
Use the menu to select one of the main categories.
You can then select from this list of products to view a larger image and more information, including how to buy.
Step-by-Step Guide to Ordering
First off, find the item you are interested in ordering (see Browsing and How to Order). When you click on an individual item you will be shown a larger image, along with a text description. You will also be able to see the price of the item and decide whether it is the right product for you.
To view an alternative product from our range, click “back” in your browser to return to the list of similar products available.
Having decided on the correct product, you should make the necessary choices regarding size, colour etc. using the drop-down list boxes provided. Note: If no boxes are shown for a product then it is only available in a single size/colour etc.

Using the text box, indicate the quantity of the item you wish to purchase and click “Add to basket” which can be found in the top right of your screen.

This will add the product to your shopping basket. To continue shopping for further items either use the back button in your browser or use the site menu.
Customised Goods
Customised goods are added to the basket it a different manner. Use the menu at the top of the page to access the online designer. Follow the instructions to design your item and then click "Add to Basket".
The Shopping Basket
When you have selected all the items you wish to purchase and would like to proceed to the checkout you should first check that the details shown on the basket page are correct. Make sure that the correct quantity is selected for each item. Press “+” to increase the quantity and “-” to decrease it. If the quantity is 1, pressing “-” will remove the item from the basket.
Next select your preferred delivery option, your new total will be displayed accordingly. For further information on delivery options see the delivery info page.
Click “Checkout” when you are happy with all the information on the basket page. You will then be prompted to log-in if you are a returning customer or to register if you are a new customer.

Display and Accessibility
The PurpleFishes site uses client-side Javascript to enable fast surfing and low loading times. This means that in order to navigate the site you may need to be using a web browser, with Javascript enabled.
We recommend Firefox, the web browser available from Mozilla - follow the link below for more information and to download for free.

The PurpleFishes site is best viewed in a resolution of 1024x768 or greater. If your resolution is set to 800x600 (or lower) you may find that you are unable to view the whole width of the site at the same time. If you would like to increase the resolution of your display then follow these simple steps:
Changing Your Resolution Under Windows
1. Simply go to your desktop and right-click on some free space. A grey menu box will pop up.
2. Left-click on Properties near the bottom of the menu. A large Display Properties box will pop up.

3. Select the Settings tab in the Display Properties box.
Which should change the box to...

4. Use the little slide bar near the lower left of the Display Properties box to adjust desired screen resolution and then click "Ok". 1024x768 (or greater) will be adequate.

Having done this, Windows will ask you to confirm that changing your resolution is indeed what you want to do. After you have clicked "Ok" again, your monitor will flick off for a few seconds and then on again with the new resolution. Windows will usually ask you to confirm the change one last time.
Changing Your Resolution with a Macintosh
For all Macintosh operating systems below OS X, resolution settings are found under the Apple Menu. Select Control Panels, and then Monitors and Sound. Or, you can use the Control Strip at the bottom of the screen, and click on the Screen resolution icon.
For Macintosh OS X, resolution settings are found by clicking the Apple Menu, and then selecting System Preferences and then Displays. Or you can click on the Apple in the Dock at the bottom, and select Displays.
If you have a much older monitor type, you may find that 800x600 is as high as the monitor will allow.
